April 2012: Strike A Pose? I'd Rather You Didn't!

When I Write Posts, I Often Look To Different Things/People/Places For Inspiration, And If There Is Anything That I Have Learnt About The World Of Blogging, *Ahem Begging Your Pardon, Fashion Blogging, It's That It Is Full Of People Who Just Post Pictures Of Themselves In Different Outfits Or Posts About Thinks Going On In Their Daily Life On Their Blogs. Don't Get Me Wrong, I Think It's Fabulous That You Can Just Put Yourself Out There On The (What I Like To Call The Weird & Wonderful Web). But Has It Gone Too Far? Does It Really Become Inspiration When We're Just Seeing People In Different Outfits Posing & Pouting, And When There Not Actually Writing About Different Inspirations, Or Anything To Do With The Fashion Industry Or Writing Well, Anything! In The Words Of Carrie Bradshaw "I Can't Help But Wonder" When Does Simply Striking A Pose, Become Better Than Striking Up A Post?

April 2012: What's Coffee Got To Do With It?

It Is My Believe And Also Sort Of My Religion That Whilst Your Out & About In The Trendy Highsteet, There Is One Thing You Should Always Have With You, And That Is Coffee! Quiet Sad Yes I Know, But Coffee Has Become The New Trendy Sidekick That Fashionista's Almost Always Have With Them Whilst Out Shopping! Whether It's A Latte, A Cappucino, A Macchiatto, A Frappachino (What Do All These Words Even Mean?) Just Make Sure Your Carrying A Starbucks Cup On Your Next Shopping Trip (Especially If Your Alone, At Least Then You'll Have Some Company). "What Can I Get For You?"  "I'll Have A Caramel Macchiato To Takeaway Please!"

April 2012: Cover Story: Kate Winslet

When I Heard That James Cameron Was Re-releasing His Wonderful 1997 Production Of Titanic This Year, I Was Ecstatic! Alongside Leonardo DiCaprio I Hadn't Really Seen Kate In Many Other Films, So I Guess You Could Say That Titanic Was the First Film I Saw Them Both In, But The Chemistry Between Them Was Phenominal, And Seeing It Today In 3D Brought Back Many Memories Of My Childhood (And Also A Few Tears!)

March 2012: I Heart NY!

When I Arrived In The Big Apple I Knew Pretty Much Straight Away that I Wanted To Live There (I Mean Who Wouldn't!) There Is So Much (If Not Too Much) To Get Excited About And Do And See! The Buildings, The Food, The People, The Shopping & So Much To Get Inspired From, The Theatre, The Art, The Buildings, The Fashion, The Culture & So Much More! I Even Had A Little Celebrity Encounter!

Even For A City Boy Like Myself It Was Truely Overwhelming How Vast This City Actually Was And Yet The Most Surreal Thing Was Shopping Until 12AM, Personally Because I Live In A Small Town Now In the Middle Of The Countryside Where Everything And Everyone Comes To A Stand Still At Around 5PM. But It Was Truely Amazing How Much There Is To Do, But The Thing I Enjoyed The Most (Apart From The Shopping) Was Visiting The Famous Landmarks That Are Housed In New York, The Museum Of Modern Art, Central Park, The Empire State Building, Ground Zero, The Flat Iron Building, Conde Nast, Times Sqaure And The List Goes On. But The Shopping, Oh Where Do I Begin! Well Designer Shops Are Wonderful To Admire (I Didn't Go In Any, I Felt Too Uncomfortable) But Even Standing Outside Of Them Looking Into Windows Seeing Exspensive Silk Dresses Draped Mannequins Behind The Infamous Designer Logos, That Was Enough To Get Me Excited, And Then There Was The What I Call Real Shopping, And Forever 21 Was My Favourite Store, It's Sort Of Like A More Up Class Primark Whilst Still Remaining Amazingly Cheap. There Were So Many Vintage & Sample Sale Shops That I Lost Count, I Also Lost Count How Many Starbucks I Saw Too (I Don't Know Around 35?)
