February 2012: God Save McQueen

From Lady Gaga To Sarah Jessica Parker, To Those Fabulous Shoes, The Gorgeous Wedding Dress For Kate Middleton, The Hair And Make-Up And Of Course Those Skull Prints, It Is Quiet Clear That Alexander McQueen Has Become A Brand That Is Much Loved Within The Fashion Industry, But When I Heard That Head Designer Had Commited Suicide It Was A Deeply Sad Day For Me Personally, To See Such An Idol And Such A Loved Man In The Fashion Industry Who Was Suddenly Gone It Was A Tradegy. Nether The Less The Brand Must Live On And Sarah Burton Has Done A Great Job At Making Sure That The House Of McQueen Looks As Fabulous As If Lee Alexander McQueen Were Still Here.

The Exhibit 'Savage Beauty' Is A Collection Of His Best Pieces From His Collections Over The Years, There Are Some AMAZING Pieces In This Collection, And What A Collection! McQueen Has Certainly Taken Things To The Next Level In Terms Of The Way Fashion And Clothing Are Percived. His Pieces Were Made From So Many Different Materials Like Feathers, Flowers, Crystals, Lace, Fur, Leather, Metal, Netting & Of Course Fabric, But His Patterns Were So Different And Fabulous That You Could Study Them For Hours. The Time, Effort And Attention To Detail This Man Put Into His Work Was Astounding, And This Is The Excact Reason Why I Love This Designer & Brand. There Are So Many Different Inspirations For The Pieces In The Collections Like Scotland, Birds, The Chess Scene From The Film Harry Potter, The Royal Family & So Much More, There Are So Many Reasons To Get Inspired From It, I Know I Certainly Have!
